Stockton Ports Handsome Stadium
It was the night the moonlight went out in Stockton in fact around
the world but you couldn’t tell with the bright lights beaming on
Banner Island Ballpark.
Lathrop Chamber of Commerce was invited to the home of the
Stockton Ports. It was early evening so it was called a mixer, yes
their was food, drink and a lot of laughter but this night had
something else that was special it had an Lunar Eclipse.
Tim Pasisz (Account Executive) gave a tour of the stadium though the lunar eclipse was going
on the chamber members were more interest about the handsome Banner Island Ballpark. The
tour showed all the media booths, eating areas, the locker rooms,
bullpens, dugouts, play areas for children and one thing you can’t
over look is that their isn’t a bad seat in the house.
Go onto their website www.stocktonports.com and find out for
yourself what new exciting events, activities and promotions they
have in store for those who enjoy the game of baseball or a fun
family day at the park.
Stockton Ports is a Minor League Team under the Oakland A’s franchise and they play other
Minor League Teams, which represents franchises like the Giants,
Philly’s, Dodgers and many others. These teams are feeder teams
for different franchises some players will make to the Big Leagues
and some will continue to be Club Players. Every once in awhile a
Player will come through this system and be drafted. Sometimes a
Major Player is coming off rehabilitation from an injury and will play
on the Minor League Team that is the Farm Team of the franchise
he was playing with before his injury getting into shape to go back
to the Majors.
That was a little confusing but one thing is for sure is that Banner Island Ballpark and the
Stockton Ports are a winner in San Joaquin County. You owe it to yourself and your family to
check it out.
City of Stockton scored with Banner Island Ballpark and the Stockton Arena. It brought class
into their city, great venue along side the deepwater canal.
